A toy truck was shown to us during English class today which was an ordinary truck but the logo on it was from McDonald's, meaning that it is advertising the famous fast food chain. McDonald used the opportunity to factorize a toy truck because children will want to buy the truck and make their parents pay it. This brings money for the producer of the truck and in the long run also gives money to McDonald's because the children will drag their parents to the restaurant. All in all the children will then drag their parents to the restaurant where they have to buy the food (more money for McDonald's) and probably they will want the Happy Meal, concluding that there is another toy. Hence the circle starts here: the children drag their parents to McDonalds, then they buy the Happy Meal, receive the toy, the toy belongs to a chain of toys and now the problem starts: the parents have to return to McDonald's for more toys.
The toy truck was bought at a gas station in Italy and since the children probably sat in the car for ages the parents feel guilty so they buy the truck for them. The ride continues in the car and they see the Golden Arcs from far away: off to eat lunch at McDonald's. The toy truck with the McDonald logo on it is a 2 in 1 package for the supplier because they get the most profit for it. On the other hand for the consumer it is just a "money- wasting- child- trap".
